Advocacy – The Chamber represents the membership by partnering with over 17 boards and regional organizations, including the Ashe Economic Development Commission. In addition, we coordinate activities with 7 area Chambers and High Country Host, our regional marketing host.

Business Development – Our Chamber is committed to fostering relationships with industry leaders and advancing workforce and economic development in our county.

Industry Appreciation Luncheon – An annual event to honor existing industry and industry leaders

Educational Seminars – Partnering with Wilkes Community College – Ashe Center , we sponsor educational seminars, workshops, and special events to help members grow their business

Leadership – Develop your leadership skills by joining in Chamber activities and becoming a participant in the Ashe Leadership Challenge, a local leadership development program. Our alumni represent our community on boards and committees throughout our community.

Visits and phone calls – We are often the first contact for someone new or visiting. If you make sure that we understand your business, we will know when to send customers to you.

	Ashe Magazine advertising – In addition to your line listing in this magazine, you can purchase ad space. Cooperative Advertising – Opportunity to participate in local and regional advertising publications. A 1/6 page ad in Our State Magazine is usually $1,300. By joining a Chamber Co-op, our members advertised for $600! Host Business Breakfasts/After Hours – This is a great way to meet people and introduce or demonstrate your products and/or services. Trade Show – Send your brochures to be distributed. Mailing lists and labels – Purchase a list of current members to promote your business locally, or buy our visitor list to reach outside the county. Special event advertising opportunities – A wonderful way to purchase package sponsorships of various events.

Tax Deduction – The Chamber serves as an advocate organization for area businesses, so your Chamber membership investment is deductible as a necessary business expense.
