Fully accredited by the Joint Commission, Ashe Memorial Hospital is a primary care facility that cares about the entire family. The hospital has been in a constant growth pattern with the addition of new physicians and renovations over the last several years. In 2005, the Wilma Vannoy Birthing Center will open. The new birthing center will feature three LDRP (labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum) suites that will have all the latest in medical equipment and care and all the comforts of a top-line hotel suite.

The Hospital has also opened the Mountain Family Care Center in Warrensville. This center is an alternative to families in need of care after normal physician hours and offers a variety of non-emergency services. The clinic hours are Monday through Thursday, from 5:00 p.m. to
9:00 p.m. and Saturdays, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The hospital is recognized as a certified Softer Mammogram Provider, a distinction awarded only to an elite group of healthcare facilities.
